Trust. That’s what Dr. Azmoodeh (or Dr. A) believes is a crucial component in dentistry. Without it, a patient will be less willing to visit their dentist regularly and discuss any issues they’re having, causing their oral health to suffer. If you need a dentist nearby that will always go the extra mile to build a trusting and meaningful relationship with their patients, look no further than Dr. A!
A proud graduate of the Texas A&M College of Dentistry, Dr. A has helped patients maintain their happiest, healthiest smiles for nearly two decades. One of his favorite parts about the job is being able to improve his patient's health, appearance, and confidence every day.
Dr. A wants his patients to receive the best dental care possible, which is why he’s extremely dedicated to continuing education. To this day, he takes numerous hours of continuing education courses every year to grow and refine his skill set. Dr. A has undergone special training in implant dentistry (both placement and restoration), dental sleep solutions, and Chao Pinhole gum surgery. Additionally, he’s an active member of the American Dental Association – he was even nominated as one of America’s Best Dentists in 2015 and 2016!
Outside of the dental office, Dr. A enjoys spending quality time with his loving wife and two beautiful children. Whenever he has free time, he attends sporting events and reads up on computers and history.
Dr. Shin is a jack of all trades when it comes to dentistry. From root canal therapy to wisdom teeth extractions to veneer placement, he’s able to perform almost every dental procedure with ease.
Surprisingly enough, Dr. Shin completed his undergraduate degree in engineering at Sung-Kyun-Kwan University in Seoul, South Korea. After discovering his passion for helping others, he decided to transition into dentistry. Dr. Shin earned his DMD degree from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA.
Dr. Shin is the remarkable, top-rated dentist he is today because he spends a lot of time and effort continuing his education. He’s constantly learning about the latest technologies, techniques, and materials that are available today. Since completing an implant course through the Hiossen Education Program, he’s placed more than 300 implants and has performed multiple socket preservation/bone graft surgeries. If you need a dentist near Addison that has experience with full mouth reconstructions, pediatric dentistry, and periodontal therapy, Dr. Shin is your guy!
Whenever he’s not caring for people’s smiles, he spends time with his caring wide and young daughter. Some of his favorite pastimes include singing at his church, playing piano, and participating in sports like golf and tennis.
Having to trust someone with your smile is scary, but not when it comes to Dr. Azmoodeh. I get to sit back and relax knowing that the staff will be doing a great job. As soon as I walked in, the receptionist was kind and amazing. She made me feel very welcomed. I never have to wait more than 5 minutes in the lobby for my treatment to begin. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Prospective dentists need to earn their Doctor of Dental Medicine or Doctor of Dental Sciences from one of the only 67 accredited dental schools in the United States. In addition to that, they must complete the required continuing education hours to keep their license. Some dentists may even decide to further their education by earning one of the 12 specializations recognized by the American Dental Association.
